Sanctity of Human Life Sunday -- January 22, 2012
Sunday, January 22, 2011 marks the 39th year of legalized abortion-on-demand in our nation, a time to mourn the loss of innocent life and peacefully protest the 1973 Supreme Court decisions in "Roe" and "Doe" that overturned state laws prohibiting abortion. Many prolifers observe the day by attending memorial services for the unborn or remembering the lives lost and people hurt by abortion. For more prolife faith resources, visit here.
Small splashes make ripples. Many ripples form waves. Waves shape and contour the "shoreline" of our community. Take a moment to download, print, and give the Lakes Area RTL contact slips to 12 people as an invitation to "dive in" for life. In simple ways, individually and collectively, we can and must transform our community. We can promote and must defend the unalienable right to life.
