Stand To Oppose Planned Parenthood Abortion Racket In Auburn Hills
Planned Parenthood has recently purchased a building located at 1625 Opdyke, in Auburn Hills, Michigan, just north of University, which will be the only abortion clinic in the area and the only Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Oakland County. We will be working on ways to counter this and keeping members informed of opportunities to take a stand.

Why is Planned Parenthood a "sacred cow"?

As the federal budget debate raged on, the issue of funding for Planned Parenthood inspired some seriously melodramatic and bad-faith rhetoric. One House Democrat accused pro-life Republicans of wanting to "kill women" and compared them to Nazis. The Senate Majority Whip "negotiated" by promising that "the dangerous, ideological cuts to Planned Parenthood that passed the House are never, never, never going to pass the Senate." Forty-one Senate Democrats willingly held military families and federal employees hostage by signing a resolution to reject any budget deal that did not include #1 abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood discredits itself by its activities

A recent AP article1 decried the negative publicity that has recently plagued Planned Parenthood . While touting Planned Parenthood's low cost, government-subsidized health services for women, the article ignored its penchant for promoting sexual activity among young teens. Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA) is quoted as saying, "In my community, Planned Parenthood is a very highly regarded mainstream organization". The questions are - is Planned Parenthood mainstream and is it right for our community?
